On 18 December 2024, the revision of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) was officially published in the Official Journal of the European Union. This new regulation, laid down in Regulation 2024/3110, will enter into force on 7 January 2025 and will apply from 8 January 2026 (with some exceptions). The new Construction Products Regulation represents an important step towards further harmonisation of the European internal market for construction products, with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation.
